Cycling tour near Nova Gorica
The School of Environmental Sciences of the University of Nova Gorica, will organize a cycling tour near Nova Gorica for all students and amployees, on Thursday October 16, 2008. The main objective of the event is the promotion of renewable energy.
The ride is organized in collaboration with Prof. David Osterberg from the University of Iowa, who is a participant and promoter of the traditional "The Green Bike Tour".
The cycling tour will start at 3:30 pm at Via della Crocce 3, Gorizia, Italy. The tour will finish at 6:30 pm at the University of Nova Gorica, Vipavska 13. The tour will include approximately 25-30 km of cycling and two stops at the local providers of renewable energy.
In case of bad weather, Prof. David Osterberg will hold a seminar on the "The Green Bike Tour" initiative and related activities. The seminar will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 4:00 pm at the Lecture hall 201, Via della Croce 3, Gorizia, Italy.
